Chief Technology Officer - Hydrogen Electrolysers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and safeguard the business’s intellectual property through the use of patents, trade secrets, and strategic alliances.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Manufacturing, and Sales to guarantee effective product commercialization and market penetration
• Provide visionary technical leadership and strategic direction for the development of hydrogen electrolysis systems
• Develop and maintain a clear and ambitious technology roadmap, aligning it with the company’s long-term goals and market trends
• Ensure the most effective use of resources by monitoring the distribution of resources and budgets for research and development initiatives
• Foster a culture of innovation, exploring emerging technologies, materials, and processes to enhance the performance and competitiveness of our products
• Attract, hire, and mentor top talent in the field of clean energy technology, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
• Design, prototype, and develop electrolysis technologies with a group of engineers and researchers in order to increase their effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and scalability
• Keep up with industry standards, laws, and certifications to make sure our products adhere to all requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge of electrochemical processes, materials science, and clean energy technology
• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Prior experience in a CTO or senior technical leadership role is a plus
• Proven track record of leadership and innovation in the development of hydrogen electrolysis technologies
• Experience in managing and leading interdisciplinary technical teams
