Chief Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Change existing procedures to accommodate DFM processes, methods, and tolls.
• Establish a consistent improvement program to reduce variation in scrap, spoilage, rework, and startup costs.
• Create a collaborative DFM-focused project execution culture.
• Install an appropriate automatic KPI system to monitor adherence to defined DFM processes, methods, and tools across all programs.
• Organize, moderate, and track DFM workshops and initiatives for selected mission-critical customer programmes across the entire PLC.
• Define the process, method, tools, and guidelines that will be used to support the execution of DFM activities within BA UX.
• DFM requirements should be integrated into the existing requirements management system.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering degree with understanding of display related technologies and precision assembly processes
• A good understanding of the product life cycle in automotive electronics / displays.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in project management
• Experience in either product engineering, industrial/process engineering or quality
