Senior EW System Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer to join our cutting-edge defense technology team. You will play a critical role in the development and integration of advanced EW systems for military applications, focusing on electronic attack, defense, and surveillance capabilities. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of EW principles and experience in designing, testing, and deploying systems that counter modern electronic threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and integration of advanced Electronic Warfare systems for military platforms.
- Develop signal processing algorithms for detecting, identifying, and neutralizing hostile electronic signals.
- Oversee system architecture and ensure proper integration of EW systems with military communication and radar systems.
- Perform threat analysis and develop countermeasure solutions to address modern electronic threats.
- Conduct system-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting of EW systems to ensure optimal performance in real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers, to ensure EW systems meet mission requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
- Engage with defense stakeholders to understand operational requirements and ensure system capabilities align with mission needs.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports and system documentation.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Electronic Warfare systems development and integration.
- Strong background in signal processing, radar systems, and communication jamming technologies.
- Hands-on experience with RF systems and radar technology, including spectrum analysis and countermeasure techniques.
- Proficient in electronic countermeasures (ECM), electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM), and electronic support measures (ESM).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, defense-focused environment with strong attention to security protocols.
Fluency in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
