  • Manages global supplier portfolio based on customer & internal stakeholder requirements, including identification of new capable suppliers
  • Executes benchmarks and commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve the customer RFQ / project and strategic purchasing objectives
  • Manages escalations with suppliers
  • Updates the Category Statement for customer RFQs / projects
  • Monitors continuously the economical, technical & social market trends & risks
  • Negotiates and implements cash and capital improvement measures with suppliers
  • Implements worldwide purchasing strategies
  • Ensures the compliant supplier installation, award and release processes
  • Recovers non-conformance and non-performance costs from
  • Supports on special tasks based on upper level decision
  • Regularly reports the overall status of the allotted Category Objectives to the Head of Category


  • University or alternative qualification without studies
  • Minimum 5 years in the respective area in the automotive industry
  • Ability to analyze and cluster complex and challenging tasks, structured and objective working also in critical and tensed situations
  • Ability to integrate into (new) teams , enhanced intercultural sensitiveness
