Business Development Manager
Our Client is a leading player in the construction industry in Northwest Europe.
They are looking for a Business Development Manager to manage the development of their customer base in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- You appropriately identify, evaluate, and move forward with leads after doing a thorough analysis of their needs and requirements (taking into account influencing elements like the project’s location, logistics, design, architecture, structural layout, and other pertinent technical characteristics).
- You also establish the projects’ scope, consider the relevant principles, and estimate the necessary finances in the beginning.
- You assess if working with the client is both financially and strategically feasible.
- You work closely with the teams in charge of sales, pricing, marketing, and bid management as well as the rest of the Commercial Excellence team.
Your Competences:
- You have a strong enthusiasm for prefab building and feel that it will have a bright future. You can enthuse customers about prefab with your experience and positive outlook.
- You prefer taking initiative and being proactive.
- You possess a strong desire to explore untapped areas and consistently recognise fresh prospects, along with extensive expertise in turning these chances into projects.
- You possess excellent communication abilities, a high degree of persuasiveness, and are a true team player.
- You work well with the team to accomplish shared objectives and significantly contribute to the expansion and stability of our company.
The Requirements:
- You have a business/commercial background and at least a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field.
- You write and speak English and German with ease.
- You already have a solid network and are knowledgeable about the market.
- You are well-versed in modular building and contemporary construction technology.
- It is advantageous to have knowledge of concrete and/or aluminium.
- You have accumulated a minimum of five years of pertinent work experience in a comparable position.
- You’ve worked with a CRM system before.
