Director of Operations

Job Description:

We are on the search for an experienced Director of Operations to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Solar PV EPC unit. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of solar energy projects from a Engineering, Procurement and Construction perspective whilst ensuring efficiency, management of budgets, and leading cross-functional teams daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all operational related topics for Solar PV EPC projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Manage project schedules, procurement processes, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to streamline workflows and enhance project performance.
• Implement and maintain best practices for safety, risk management, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the operations teams, driving performance and improvements.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any operational issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations management within the Solar PV EPC industry.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and keep to timeline expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
