Advanced Inverter eHardware Architect
RESPONSBILITES:
- Share project status information both internally and internationally
- Develop and document hardware and software requirements
- Assess the performance and trade-offs of designs using simulation and analysis techniques
- Systems design for advanced inverter projects
- Examine and troubleshoot new hardware and software in a lab setting
- Create mechanization drawings and allocate functional requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ability to guide and direct other engineers is desired
- Requires strong interpersonal abilities
- BSEE or equivalent degree required, MSEE preferred
- 20% domestic and worldwide travel capability
- Experience with system simulation and modelling tools and circuit simulation tools is preferred
- Prior experience designing interface and power conversion circuits is preferred.
- Power conversion systems and microprocessor-based systems experience of at least five years is necessary; eight years or more is recommended
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- An understanding of automotive electronics is preferred.
