Advanced Inverter eHardware Architect

RESPONSBILITES:

  • Share project status information both internally and internationally
  • Develop and document hardware and software requirements
  • Assess the performance and trade-offs of designs using simulation and analysis techniques
  • Systems design for advanced inverter projects
  • Examine and troubleshoot new hardware and software in a lab setting
  • Create mechanization drawings and allocate functional requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ability to guide and direct other engineers is desired
  • Requires strong interpersonal abilities
  • BSEE or equivalent degree required, MSEE preferred
  • 20% domestic and worldwide travel capability
  • Experience with system simulation and modelling tools and circuit simulation tools is preferred
  • Prior experience designing interface and power conversion circuits is preferred.
  • Power conversion systems and microprocessor-based systems experience of at least five years is necessary; eight years or more is recommended
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • An understanding of automotive electronics is preferred.
