Senior Charging Products Embedded Software Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development, execution, and debugging of software architectures
- Documentation of relevant product specifications in accordance with internal
- Support strong DFMEA, and DVP&R development
- Documentation in tools for requirements management
- Be a product lead in the lab throughout prototype builds, tests, troubleshooting, or disassembly throughout the product development and validation process
- Create tests (unit tests, SIL, etc.) to verify functionality
- Ability to work and keep constant communication with globally located engineering team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with automotive, electric vehicle sector, and technology products
- Microsoft Office core competencies in Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- C, C++, CAN, higher level languages
- Exposure in connectivity architecture using Wireless (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC), and wired (Ethernet) interfaces
- 5–10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on high-voltage and high-power systems
- Understanding and application of the product lifecycle
- Knowledge and experience with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) development process for electronics and software a plus
- Previous system level engineering experience for electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge and experience with Functional Safety according to ISO26262 a plus
- Analytical problem solving, critical thinking, and hands-on approach.
