Senior Charging Products Embedded Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development, execution, and debugging of software architectures
  • Documentation of relevant product specifications in accordance with internal
  • Support strong DFMEA, and DVP&R development
  • Documentation in tools for requirements management
  • Be a product lead in the lab throughout prototype builds, tests, troubleshooting, or disassembly throughout the product development and validation process
  • Create tests (unit tests, SIL, etc.) to verify functionality
  • Ability to work and keep constant communication with globally located engineering team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with automotive, electric vehicle sector, and technology products
  • Microsoft Office core competencies in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • C, C++, CAN, higher level languages
  • Exposure in connectivity architecture using Wireless (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC), and wired (Ethernet) interfaces
  • 5–10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on high-voltage and high-power systems
  • Understanding and application of the product lifecycle
  • Knowledge and experience with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) development process for electronics and software a plus
  • Previous system level engineering experience for electrical and mechanical systems
  • Knowledge and experience with Functional Safety according to ISO26262 a plus
  • Analytical problem solving, critical thinking, and hands-on approach.
