Controls Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop creative goods through processes, procedures, tools, and structures while maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of customer delivery
- Inform the team, as well as your colleagues, managers, and customers, about the theory behind the algorithm and the outcomes of your tests
- Carry out modelling and simulation, including instrumentation and system characterization
- Develop actuator control algorithms for all-wheel-drive systems, including simulation modelling, documentation, debugging, validation, and system integration, for use in production applications and concept vehicle demonstrations
- Develop modern control algorithms
- Actively work with team members both inside and outside your organisation
- Utilize rapid prototyping tools and techniques, with a mindfulness of reusability in production applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Automotive Systems
- 3 years experience in Control Engineering
- Experience with AWD systems (couplings, transfer cases)
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, TargetLink, Rapid Prototyping, Vector Tools, Controls development for Mechanical and Mechatronic systems
- Experience with software design development
- International and Domestic travel required, as needed, up to 10%
