As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d), you will play a central role within the finance function, taking ownership of core accounting activities while actively contributing to the modernisation and optimisation of financial processes.
This role goes beyond transactional accounting — you will work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders, while helping to shape how accounting and reporting are delivered in a growing, forward-looking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for financial accounting, including:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Asset Accounting
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Active involvement in the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Close cooperation with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Participation in process optimisation and digitalisation projects within the finance function.
- Support continuous improvement of accounting standards, documentation, and internal controls.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training or a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a General Ledger or Senior Accountant role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in financial statement preparation.
- Confident working with ERP/accounting systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office.
- Native or Bilingual German Speaker in addition to English Speaking is essential; French is a plus.
- Independent, precise working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
