About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development & Transaction Manager to lead and execute transaction processes across the renewable energy sector. This role is central to driving sales, investment, and strategic partnerships across Europe, with a strong focus on PV and wind project rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and manage transaction processes for the sale of project rights.
- Prepare transaction documentation including teasers, process letters, and information memoranda.
- Negotiate Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
- Coordinate external consultants to perform due diligence.
- Act as the main point of contact for investors and potential partners.
- Identify sales, investment, and participation opportunities in European target markets.
- Explore and assess co-investor and alternative financing options (e.g. crowd financing).
- Proactively expand and maintain a strong professional network in the renewable energy industry.
- Drive the implementation of the sales strategy and anticipate market trends.
Requirements
- Master’s, diploma, or equivalent degree in energy technology, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in sales within the renewable energy sector, ideally with M&A exposure in project rights (utility-scale).
- Strong track record in transactional processes.
- Excellent network within the European PV and wind industries.
MUST HAVE
- Business fluency in German and English (other European languages a plus).
- Experience in a similar role within the renewable energy industry.
