About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a German industrial subsidiary. In this role, you will ensure financial soundness, compliance, and performance monitoring across the organization while supporting strategic and operational decision-making. You will lead a small finance team and act as the key interface between local operations, Group Finance, and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Reporting – Ensure reliable statutory financial statements, prepare annual accounts, coordinate with auditors and tax advisors, and ensure compliance with local regulations and group standards.
 - Budgeting & Performance – Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor performance, analyze variances, and propose corrective measures in collaboration with operations.
 - Cash & Treasury – Oversee cash flow, anticipate financing needs, and prepare treasury reports in coordination with Group Finance.
 - Accounting & Operational Support – Manage fixed assets, oversee inventories, and ensure efficient processing of employee expenses while maintaining strong internal controls.
 - Compliance & Internal Controls – Deploy Group financial policies, strengthen control systems, and safeguard financial data integrity.
 - Team Leadership – Manage and develop a team of three finance professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
 - Stakeholder Management – Serve as the primary contact for auditors, banks, tax authorities, and public entities.
 - Systems & Tools – Ensure effective use of ERP systems (SAP, Texware) and support IT integration in finance processes.
 
Your Profile
- Degree from a leading Business or Engineering School with a specialization in Corporate Finance
 - 3–10 years of relevant experience in finance, ideally in the industrial or automotive sector
 - Proficiency in accounting, tax, controlling, and financial reporting
 - Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience required) and financial tools
 - Fluent English; French is a plus
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of rigor and integrity
 - Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
