Construction Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of renewable energy infrastructure projects across Germany. This is a vital role contributing to the transition toward sustainable energy, managing complex EPC contracts and on-site operations while upholding the highest HSE standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective project management tools and methods.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) standards.
  • Manage construction contracts with EPC suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Monitor and control construction budgets and optimize costs.
  • Produce regular reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure continuous stakeholder communication and coordination.
  • Oversee compliance with Grid Code regulations for successful grid connection.
  • Conduct project completion, punch list creation, and handover to asset management.
  • Support development teams during the pre-construction phase.

Requirements

  • Degree or experience in project management (civil/mechanical/electrical/utilities/environmental).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within renewables, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., wind, solar PV, batteries, electrical infrastructure).
  • Proven application of HSE and QA/QC procedures during construction.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • High attention to detail with excellent reporting and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate leadership.
  • Fluency in both English and German (essential).
  • Motivation to contribute to the renewable energy transition
