About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of renewable energy infrastructure projects across Germany. This is a vital role contributing to the transition toward sustainable energy, managing complex EPC contracts and on-site operations while upholding the highest HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective project management tools and methods.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) standards.
- Manage construction contracts with EPC suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Monitor and control construction budgets and optimize costs.
- Produce regular reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure continuous stakeholder communication and coordination.
- Oversee compliance with Grid Code regulations for successful grid connection.
- Conduct project completion, punch list creation, and handover to asset management.
- Support development teams during the pre-construction phase.
Requirements
- Degree or experience in project management (civil/mechanical/electrical/utilities/environmental).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within renewables, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., wind, solar PV, batteries, electrical infrastructure).
- Proven application of HSE and QA/QC procedures during construction.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- High attention to detail with excellent reporting and organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate leadership.
- Fluency in both English and German (essential).
- Motivation to contribute to the renewable energy transition
