Overview

Are you passionate about satellite communications and eager to shape the future of ground systems? In this role, you will play a key part in business development and technology assessment for SatCom terminals and ground stations

Responsibilities

  • Developing new business opportunities and evaluating innovative technologies in satellite communications
  • Leading and managing proposal projects for ground systems in space and satellite communications
  • Technical pre-design and project planning in close collaboration with technical and commercial departments
  • Supporting contract negotiations with international customers
  • Conducting small-scale studies on future technologies and market developments
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relationships with research institutions, industry partners, and agencies
  • Representing the company at trade fairs and conferences

Requirements

  • Completed technical degree, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering, communications engineering, or aerospace
  • Solid knowledge in satellite communications
  • Professional experience in project or product sales is an advantage
  • Experience in project management and systems engineering is desirable
  • Knowledge of the customer and supplier market is a plus
  • Strong customer orientation and entrepreneurial mindset
  • High problem-solving ability, creativity, and teamwork skills
  • Innovative thinking as well as a structured and organized working approach
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
