About the Role
Lead the strategic and operational management of all commercial functions in a growing international company. As the Head of Finance and Accounting, you will work closely with local and group leadership to enhance financial structures, digitalize processes, and guide the business through its next phase of development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting, controlling, and financial reporting
- Lead financial and liquidity planning, including receivables management
- Drive the preparation and analysis of annual financial statements
- Optimize and digitalize cost accounting and project calculation processes
- Ensure efficient handling of tax and banking matters
- Further develop reporting systems and key financial indicators (KPIs)
- Manage and develop the finance team, promoting collaboration and cross-functional efficiency
- Implement and refine IT-supported commercial processes
- Act as the key finance contact for audits and group-level coordination
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Several years of experience in a comparable leadership role, preferably in international mechanical or plant engineering sectors
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting, financial reporting, controlling, and cost accounting
- Proven experience leading teams and establishing effective financial processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., BMD) and strong MS Office skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong analytical thinking, structured work approach, and execution skills
