Role Overview
A dynamic and fast-growing advisory firm is seeking a (Senior) Consultant to join its Transaction Advisory team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including sell-side and buy-side mandates, strategic advisory, and select restructuring engagements. You’ll gain early responsibility and exposure to clients in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that values initiative and analytical precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage or support M&A transactions from start to finish, including financial and strategic analysis, coordination, and delivery
- Prepare investor materials such as teasers, information memoranda, and fact books
- Build financial models, conduct valuation analyses, and structure business cases
- Participate in management presentations, site visits, and investor meetings
- Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders and guide junior team members
- Support negotiations for transaction documents such as share purchase agreements
- Depending on experience, contribute to restructuring and reorganization projects
- Take an active role in internal knowledge-sharing and contribute to team development
Qualifications
- University degree in business, finance, law, or a related field
- 4–5+ years of relevant experience in M&A advisory, corporate finance, consulting, or audit
- Solid project management capabilities and analytical thinking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presence
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- First leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a team lead role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in German and English (C1+)
- Willingness to travel domestically (~40%)
