Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and international finance team. In this hybrid role based in Duisburg, you’ll play a central part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across the group. You’ll also support audits, KPI reporting, and serve as the key interface with the Shared Service Centre.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and group-level analyses
• Support the development and reporting of key KPIs and performance metrics
• Coordinate and improve processes within financial accounting
• Handle asset accounting and manage fixed asset records
• Liaise closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments
• Oversee and support external and internal audits, including SOX compliance
• Act as a process coordinator for the Shared Service Centre
• Ensure accuracy and accountability in internal control systems

• Degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on finance/controlling, or commercial apprenticeship with advanced qualifications
• Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting or controlling
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting principles, and compliance standards
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Excellent analytical thinking and a structured, problem-solving approach
• Self-driven and dependable, with a high level of teamwork and communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating across all levels and departments
