Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Director to lead the execution of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Based in France, this role will focus on managing large-scale international projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end construction execution of large-scale solar PV and BESS projects across multiple international locations.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including EPC contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, environmental standards, and HSE requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and clients.
- Implement best practices for quality control, cost optimization, and project efficiency.
- Provide leadership in resolving technical and operational challenges during project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in large-scale renewable energy construction, specifically in solar PV and BESS projects.
- Strong knowledge of EPC contract management, construction regulations, and permitting processes.
- Proven track record of managing international projects with multicultural teams.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English and French
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
