Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Satellite System Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This role involves designing, analyzing, and optimising satellite systems, with a focus on mission-critical projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in end-to-end satellite system architecture and a deep understanding of modern satellite technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of satellite system architectures, including payloads, platforms, and communication systems.
- Conduct link budget analysis, frequency planning, and interference assessments for satellite networks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate satellite systems with ground control and user terminals.
- Oversee the testing and validation of satellite systems, including pre-launch and in-orbit testing phases.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support procurement activities, including supplier evaluations and technical negotiations.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
